Administration Assistant, Commercial Services

The Administration Assistant, Commercial Services provides day-to-day support as a key member of the Commercial Services team. Please note, this is a temporary full time position until June 2020.

Temporary Full Time Administration Assistant

In summary, the Administration Assistant, Commercial Services will:

  • Report to the Manager, Commercial Services
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Commercial Services team
  • Demonstrate exceptional professionalism and confidentiality
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills
  • Prepare written and electronic correspondence
  • Coordinate and prepare all commercial portfolios with a high level of quality so that they are readily accessible for review.

As the successful candidate, you’ll have responsibility for:

  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of an assigned commercial portfolio consisting of commercial mortgages, loans, lines of credit and letters of credit to meet the borrowing needs of our members.
  • Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as required
  • Maintaining commercial files, ensuring that they are in proper order

The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:

  • A diploma in Office Administration, Legal studies or a related field
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a related position
  • Excellent computer proficiency operating Microsoft Office programs

These additional skills are considered assets too:

  • Experience working in the financial services industry
