Commercial Services Representative

The Commercial Services Representative is responsible for supporting the commercial department by completing relevant documentation and functions in a timely and accurate manner.

In summary, the Commercial Services Representative will:

  • Review commercial credit files to determine security document requirements.
  • Prepare solicitors’ letter of instructions and security on assigned new commercial credit facilities.
  • Review solicitors’ reports related to new loan/mortgage closings to ensure their accuracy.
  • Complete follow-up as required for outstanding security items.
  • Completion of credit files upon closing.
  • Process PPSA registrations/discharges/amendments/renewals as required.
  • Complete sub-searches, pin prints, and sheriff certificates as required.
  • Open new commercial membership accounts as required, including preparation of account documents.
  • Posting of all related banking entries.
  • Preparation of mortgage/loan payout statements as required.
  • Respond to external member inquires in a timely, professional manner.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:

  • A University level degree in a related field is required.
  • Five (5) years of previous administrative experience in the real estate legal sector is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and initiative are required.
  • Ability to work independently is required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
