Loan Repayment & Forgiveness

The repayment deadline for eligible CEBA loan holders to qualify for partial loan forgiveness is January 18, 2024. Depending on the size of your loan, forgiveness of up to $20,000 may be available.

While the CEBA loan is currently interest-free, beginning on January 19, 2024, outstanding balances will be charged an annual interest rate of 5% (payable monthly). Any remaining balance plus any outstanding accrued interest will be due and payable on December 31, 2026.

70-Day Refinancing Extension

If you received your original CEBA loan from WFCU, you may be eligible for a refinancing loan up to $40,000 but you must apply for the refinancing loan prior to January 18, 2024.

Members who apply for a refinancing loan from WFCU will qualify for an additional debt forgiveness extension to March 28, 2024.
